Handfasting Ritual

The Hand-fasting Ritual, also commonly known as “tying the knot” is a sacred time honored tradition dating back to the time of the Celts. It is the binding together of the hands of two people, wishing to commit, with  with one or more ribbons,(cords) each with its own special meaning to the couple, that are symbolic of the binding together of two lives.

 

The Hand-fasting Ritual alone is not a legally binding ceremony but can be coupled with a state recognized ceremony.
