Opening to the sacred  is a type of prayer practiced by the indigenous to invite in and open our souls to the presence of the omnipresent, omnipotent Great I AM; the pure light of the one known by many names. We open ourselves to the Divine within; the Sacred for the purpose of purifying, elevating, and preparing for ceremony, ritual and prayer.  It is an honoring of all the cosmos gifted us by the Divine Creator and includes calling in the archetypal medicine (wisdom) of the four cardinal points of North, South, East and West to deepen our understanding of life and our connection to everything and everyone and to bring forth balance and harmony t0 our lives, our world, and our souls.
